Grown in the highlands of the Palmares region in Costa Rica’s West Valley, this SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) EP (European Prep) coffee comes from carefully cultivated Arabica trees rooted in nutrient-rich volcanic soil. At elevations over 4,000 feet, slow maturation and expert harvesting deliver dense, flavorful beans.
We roast this selection to a medium-dark level, which brings out rich notes of toffee, dark chocolate, roasted almond, and a touch of stone fruit acidity. The body is smooth and full, with a clean finish and just enough brightness to keep things lively. It’s a satisfying cup that holds up to milk but shines on its own.
